blacklivesmatter.carrd | AUS/US donations and resources INFORMATION You guys already know what's going on. I wanted to support #blacklivesmatter and figured since I was not only going to reopen my commissions but also have a platform at shithouse that I would offer making icons for donations in the hopes of spreading awareness of resources and making a small difference. Please note that one of the links above has a list of organisations and resources to assist the Australian Aboriginal community who face brutal racism daily by our police system and have so for years. Even if you don't donate, checking out those resources and seeking out tweets on Twitter and resharing them will make a great difference. Some of the tweets are not hashtagged, but try #aboriginallivesmatter and #indigenouslivesmatter as a starting point. The links I have attached above are resources I've found. You do not have to donate to any of the organisations listed in these resources if you have a preferred business, organisation or fund you would like to support. It's only meant to be a starting point. I know there's a plethora of lists out there. Do I have to commission you to donate? No! You can use the resources here to choose where to donate and go from there. COMMISSION DETAILS Icons cost $0.10 per icon. My usual "15 icons free" will not apply to this commission package. The maximum number of icons I will complete is 100, with the minimum being 15. This is so I can turn around icons quickly. Pricing is as follows (as an example): 15 icons for $1.50. 25 icons for $2.50. 50 icons for $5.00. 75 icons for $7.50. 100 icons for $10.00. All pricing is in USD. All caps must be provided in a zip file. The number of caps in the zip must correlate to the number of icons requested. Feel free to have a few caps spare in case you give me someone literally standing in the dark. I will ask for spares if some caps are completely unusable. I am not selecting caps from a gallery or gathering caps. These must be provided. You are welcome to have multiple characters in your commission, although I ask you don't ask for 50 icons and have 50 different characters. Try aiming for 5 characters maximum. Usual commission guidelines apply: ✗ No black and white imagery. ✗ No promo shots that have already been coloured. If you're unsure of what these are, feel free to show me your caps and I can let you know. ✗ No fanart. Preference is no photoshoots. ✗ Colouring images of any kind, even changing the colour of hair/eyes. This is a screencap commission package. HOW THIS IS GOING TO WORK 1. Drop yourself into a comment below with your request with the following info: ✓ Zip file of caps. ✓ Confirm the number of icons you want. ✓ Name of the character(s) and a reference of who is who if you are requesting more than 1. (Check out the comm to know what canons I am already familiar with. I don't know anime/video games ftr.) 2. Donate to a #BLM organisation—a bail fund, a Black-owned business, etc. and screenshot your receipt. Please feel free to cross out any of your personal information. I don't need to know your name, I simply need the organisation and the amount as proof. 3. PM me at peaked. Please do pm me with the same account you make your commission request with. I get confused with too many usernames! If you pm me your donation screenshot before I get onto your icons, I'll pm you back and let you know that 1) I've received it and 2) whether I've had any issues downloading your zip so I can pop it into my folder. 4. You go on my queue. It's simple as that. ;) 5. When I'm onto your commission, I will provide you with 5 samples so you know I'm onto your set. Please acknowledge this so I know to continue. 6. Once I'm done, I'll post a few examples of your finished set and then pm it to the account you've commented on in the thread. Please note that you can wait for me to get onto your commission before donating, but know that the donation must come before the set is sent to you. A FEW THINGS TO NOTE This commission package is going to be different to the others that I have run in the past. I would prefer not to take placeholders. If there is a high demand for this, then I'll write out the guidelines for how this will work. I will not be donating on anyone's behalf. Donations are to be made before icon sets are completed. You are absolutely welcome to donate once I confirm I'm onto your set when I provide you with a 5 icon sample. Please note that if you don't acknowledge the 5 samples I provide as a signal that I am starting your set, I will move onto the next requester. TURNAROUND TIMES This is dependent on my queue. I should take 1-2 days from the day I confirm with 5 samples that I'm onto your commission. Give me 1 week from the day you comment to turn around your icon set. If I have a heavy queue, give me 1 week from when I confirm I'm onto yours. QUESTIONS If you have any questions, feel free to ask below or send me a pm!
