41. SWAMP THING (1x01)

so I'm off sick today and figured I'd make myself feel worse by making icons of a show that has the worst lighting ever (... and I wanted some for myself, no need to scare it out of me!). I'm really hopeful this show gets picked up by a network that'll appreciate it because the mystery is so intriguing and so is the world building. I could do with less scares, my cat only lets me hide behind her so many times.
colouring these was a challenge. I had to make like 4 different psds since consistent lighting throughout each scene is apparently not a thing. hopefully I've succeeded in warming up the cooler scenes with more colour since that was the challenge I've given myself — I need more practice.
this is only part 1 of 1x01 since screencapped.net has split the episode into 2 parts and I challenged myself to get this done in one sitting. anyone who follows me knows I'm unreliable and take forever to post icons so — this is proof I'm not feeling like myself. part 2 and beyond will come some time in the next millennia.
