- I follow a few individuals on Instagram who rescue domestic/ feral animals such as dogs and cats from really horrific situations and some very terrible people. Reading their stories is incredibly inspiring and also heartbreaking. The Pawprints package was originally created in 2020 after I saw a post by
alexus_cat_rescue on the night of 19 February.I've met Alexus only once. He's an incredible guy who is extremely passionate and compassionate about and for animals. He's looking after over twenty cats (all well-looked after, completely spoiled, and healthy or in the process of becoming healthy) and he never stops taking care of others when he can. He made the news a few years ago for saving a cat from a very horrific situation, and it's something that has stuck with me ever since he told me his story. He, like so many other rescuers, give animals a second chance at life when the world and people are so cruel to them.
This commission package is open to people donating to any animal rescue individual, although I've collated some that I follow below. (I am always looking for more to follow on Instagram!) Some of them don't have PayPal or GoFundMes that I can find, but I figured linking them can only help them. I'm also hoping simply talking about their accounts may increase their following by one person. (They don't need it as they're doing incredible work, but I feel like they deserve to be celebrated nonetheless.)
If you aren't interested in an icon set or can't donate, please consider following these people, talking to the people you know about their work, and boosting their voices.
I am not affiliated with any of the rescuers or accounts I have included on this page. I simply love animals and I admire the people who put their heart and soul into helping them and providing them with happy, fulfilling lives.

HOW THIS WORKS.

- • I will be accepting orders from ??? AEDT to ??? AEDT. [ CONVERT TIME ] In the instance that I have an overwhelming number of orders, I will close up taking orders earlier than the stated closure date and time. If you wish to participate in this, please get your order in early!
• I am offering commission sets from 30 icons to 150 icons.
• This is first come, first serve. I do not accept placeholders or reserves of any kind.
• You can only commission two characters maximum.
• Please provide a downloadable folder of preferably high quality (HQ) images. I'll accept zip files, imgur files, and Google files to download. (Essentially, anything that will not require me to open it one by one as I do miss saving caps.) It doesn't have to be these file sharing sites.
Please ensure all images provided are of a large size. If you open an image from a gallery, it should take up the majority of the screen. If it does not, it is too small and will be too small for an icon. I am happy for you to ask me if a cap is too small. (Please provide a link to the gallery cap.)
Low quality (LQ) images will result in LQ icons as the screencap dictates the icon image quality. Please provide HQ.
• I am okay with spoilers. There are some live action television and films that I'd like to remain unspoiled for, so I'd appreciate requesters checking in.
I don't know anything about video games outside of Spyro, anime, manga, and I already spoil myself for comics. Spoilers are cool for these things.
• Please donate after I have shown you the first set of samples. Please pm me your donation receipt (feel free to black out any personal information). I need to know the recipient, donation amount, and currency. I will not proceed in making the icons without confirmation of a donation receipt.
• All commissions will not be posted publicly and will be pmed to the requester. I'll only ever use icons from commissions as samples.

- • I WILL ICON: Live action tv and movies, comics, animated tv shows, anime, and video games. Greyscale (WandaVision has converted me).
• I WILL NOT ICON: Fanart, black and white manga, Tumblr edited images, and images that are only lined out. Please avoid saving images from Tumblr. 99% of the time these are always edited.
Rule of thumb: images need texture and colour in them.
• I AM IFFY ON ICONNING: I don't like doing photoshoots or promo stills as these are often already edited.
Just note that icon sets won't look the same if they have a mix of screencaps, promo stills and photoshoots.
• I do not offer colouring services where I colour a black and white image nor will I edit a portion of the cap by turning brown hair green. This sits outside the scope of work offered with this commission package.
PRICING.

- • I will accept requests of 30-150 icons.
REGULAR PRICING
The pricing for this package does not include panel cleanups. This is the business as usual pricing.
• $0.10 USD per icon.
I've provided a tier of quotes below as an example of how much it will cost.
- • 30 icons = $3.00 USD.
• 100 icons = $10.00 USD.
• 150 icons = $15.00 USD.
COMIC PANEL CLEAN-UPS
The pricing of this package is for comic panel clean-ups wherein you either want the speech removed from the bubble or the speech and bubble removed.
• $0.20 USD per icon..
- • 30 icons = $6.00 USD.
• 100 icons = $20.00 USD.
• 150 icons = $30.00 USD.
This is an overall charge for the icon set, no matter how many icons require manipulation and includes removing text from speech bubbles and removing the speech bubbles wherever possible. This requires more time and work, hence why it is charged at a slightly higher price.
Please note that while you may request a specific cap be cleaned up, it's at my discretion if I can clean it up. I do my best, but I can only do what I can do with what is available to me.
• I'd prefer it if people donated to their chosen rescuer themselves as this cuts out me as the middle man.
WHAT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?

- In order for your commission to be accepted, you will need to ensure you provide me:
• A downloadable zip of high quality and large caps for one to two characters. (If you want to commission one character, then this zip would contain caps for only one character.)
• The number of caps provided must equal the number of icons you want, unless you are worried a cap is too dark, then the number of caps provided must equal the number of icons you want plus 5 (i.e. for 70 icons, 75 caps may be provided).
• If you are requesting two characters to be iconned, then your zip needs to contain two folders, one for Character A and one for Character B. Please do not provide me a zip where the caps of the two characters are mixed together.
• Name of the character(s) so that I can ensure I name all icons correctly. I will not go and rename a set after I have created them.
• Rescuer that you will be donating to.

Donations go towards buying them food and anything he requires to keep them safe. If you cannot get your payment to process, try accessing GoFundMe via your phone.
brighterfuturecatrescue | DONATEAUSTRALIA-BASED. | One of my good friends fosters kittens and cats from this organisation who seek to provide them with their forever homes. They take in cats who are in all sorts of conditions—healthy and sick—and do their best to help them all.
US-BASED.
Odd Cat Sanctuary | DONATE
US-BASED. | The Odd Cat Sanctuary adopts and searches for homes for cats that are deemed "odd". They may look different to other cats or behave differently to other cats, but they are still bundles of fur, love and energy and deserve to go to a loving home. They're entirely donations based.
myfosterkittens US-BASED. | They do not have a PayPal and prefer that you donate to the organisation linked below, but Nikki and her husband do such great work in the Las Vegas area. I've learned a lot from Nikki about TNR, signs to look out for with illnesses for cats, and have generally enjoyed how she uses her platform for education.

myfosterkittens in taking care of many sick cats that required surgery.blacknoah1 | DONATEUS-BASED. | Calvin rescues cats and dogs. A lot of his content is video-based. He has literally spotted dogs chained to trees with no shade, food or water and confronts the owner as kindly as possible to have an educational conversation to either change this or to convince them to allow him to take the dog and get it adopted. When he isn't in luck, someone called "Doom" (who I haven't been able to find on Instagram) will save the animals that Calvin can't save. He doesn't just rescue cats and dogs; recently, he had saved a possum who seemed to be very ill. (The possum survived.)
littlekittenrescueUS-BASED. | These guys do such great work saving and seeking treatment for cats of all shapes, sizes, and ages. They're often in need of donations for vet bills to take care of cats that are in really bad shape. They're absolutely lovely and their cats are very spoilt with love.
minicattown | DONATEUS-BASED. | A neonatal kitten rescue dedicated to rescuing kittens and helping them find their forever homes. Founded in 2015 by three sisters who started out feeding stray cats, they have rescued over 340 cats and kittens. Their Instagram is full of adorably named babies and they are always incredibly transparent when one of their kittens is ill and in need of veterinary care. Write up and recommendation by
chuju.az_rain_rescue | DONATEUS-BASED. | 501c3 non-profit animal rescue serving the Phoenix metro area in Arizona (USA). Currently, the focus is on cats but the non-profit does rescue and regime dogs. In 2020, they adopted out 450+ cats and kittens. The rescue is 100% volunteer-based and 100% donation driven. 1bike1worldEUROPE-BASED. | I am a HUGE fan of Dean and Nala's. While Dean doesn't accept donations as he is currently biking around the world, he does signal boost charities and holds fundraisers in order to support animal-based rescue charities all over the world.
Dean and Nala are the reason why I've actually started following rescuers on Instagram. Dean stumbled upon Nala in Bosnia, who he believes had been dumped on the side of the road, and she's been cycling with him ever since. Dean has rescued two dogs so far, one named Balou who is living her best life in the UK (he found her underneath an orange tree during one of his cycling trips) and one named Ghost who unfortunately passed due to Parvo. Follow him for some cute fucking content and a gorgeous cat. If you need to ever convince someone that a human and animal (a cat, no less!) can be soulmates, he's your proof.
diozpl | DONATEPOLISH-BASED. | As of February 2022, DIOZ is helping Ukranian-based animal organisations and representatives get animals across the border into Poland. They plan to find shelter for animals and support those crossing the border.
UKRAINE-BASED. | As of February 2022, the Cat Cafe is taking donations to support their cats and to fund the Ukranian Army.
shelter_ugolyok | DONATEUKRAINE-BASED. | A non-profit shelter in Ukraine that accepts donations to help them rescue and rehabilitate animals. As of February 2022, they are accepting donations to help keep their animals fed during the Russian invasion.
SIRIUS
UKRAINE-BASED. | The largest shelter for stray animals in the Ukraine, they seek donations to help them feed their animals, keep them healthy, for construction and repair of enclosures and other needs to keep their animals comfortable.
HAPPY PAW
UKRAINE-BASED. | A charity that focuses on the homelessness of animals. The charity helps owners find lost animals, sterilise domestic pets and holds lectures on humane treatment of homeless animals for students.
UANIMALS
UKRAINE-BASED. | A movement protecting animals from exploitation and abuse. The organisation achieved banning animal circuses and persuaded designers participating in Ukranian Fashion Week to abandon natural fur.
sieben_katzenleben_ev | DONATE (Click on "Spenden + Programme" and then "Spenden".)GERMANY-BASED. | A German non-profit assisting a private person in Spain who saves cats from the streets and killing stations and gets them situated on a large finca. Donations help this individual afford all the medical care the cats might need. Highly recommended by
Takis provides shelter to dogs, cats, goats, and any other animal that he can find. He finds his animals homes all over the world. I found him via Dodo and was super touched by his love for not only the animals he finds and saves but even the local crows!
THE PROCESS.

- • Comment below using the form with a link to your zip of caps to book your spot. I won't be accepting requests via pm or on Plurk.
• One set per person per round.
• Two characters maximum can be requested with one being the minimum. I will not accept commission orders of three or more characters. Please ensure that there are 15 or more caps provided for each character.
• All caps must be sorted and provided.
If you request 150 icons, please supply 150 caps. I'll only accept a total of 150-155 caps if you are worried that your character is standing in the darkest part of the universe and I won't be able to pull any light from it. Please do not supply any more than 155 in this instance without talking to me first.
Please note that if you supply me with 150 caps for a 150 icon set and are worried about the lighting on the caps, please ensure you supply an additional cap. I don't ask for these additional caps unless it creates an icon that belongs in the toilet. I assume people do not have extra caps if these are not provided. You are welcome to tell me you have additional caps, but please provide these.
• No placeholders or reserves.
• My turnaround time is three business days upon an approval of the samples provided. This is quoted on a 150 icon commission set. This is subject to my offline availability; I aim to only take a maximum of five days to complete a 150 icon commission. I will always let you know when I expect to have your icons ready.
Please be aware that when you commission me, you may not receive your icon set for a few weeks depending on your placement in my queue.
• Samples will be shared for approval. I will not proceed to fulfil a commission without approval. I will pick 6 different screencaps to show you and do my thing where I show you the before/after.
If you want me to icon a particular scene as a sample, directly link the caps you want in your comment and I'll whip it up!
I will revise samples up to a maximum of two times. If you want further revisions on your final and complete commission set, please see the note about revisions below.
Please note that I will not continue creating a set without confirmation that you want to proceed. If I do not hear from you for five days, your commission will be cancelled.
• Donate after I have shown you the first set of samples.* Please send me a pm with your receipt. Blackout any personal information if you prefer. I just want to know who you've donated to, the donation total, and the currency!
* If you are requesting a comic icon set, please do not donate until I have finished your icons! Please only donate after the first sample if you do not wish to potentially get more icons than the number you have requested. I will confirm with you when I have reached your requested number of icons if you would like me to proceed and make as many as I can get out of the panels (while keeping the maximum number of icons I will create in mind); this will increase your donation. (i.e. in the instance where you have requested 75 icons and I have confirmed I can get more than 75, upon your approval, your final icon total will be subject to how many icons I can get with 150 as the maximum. You will then pay for the number of icons I can get. For this example, if I can get 125 icons, you will pay for 125 icons, not 75.)
• Once completed, I will provide a preview of 10-15 icons (depending on the size of the commission) of various lighting and crops.
• I will send the icon zip to you via pm, so please make sure you can accept pms! If you use multiple accounts to correspond with me, I will select to pm the account used in the last response.
• If you find any of the icons are unusable, I will redo a maximum of 15. You will need to provide the icon numbers and crop requests to me. I will not action revision requests without this information.
If you have already gone through the maximum number of revisions (two) for samples, I will only redo 5 icons.
• In the instance where a cap has two characters present, you can let me know if you want two characters in an icon. I often cut out the scene partner to focus on the requested character. If you want your chosen character and Character B in the icon, please let me know by adding to the file name "BOTH" so it looks like "MCU_BOTH". This will remain at my discretion whether it is doable and achieves an aesthetically pleasing icon.
I will not be taking cropping requests for any caps outside of this particular instance.

STATUS.
TERMS OF SERVICE.

- When you commission me, you are accepting the following:
• Given the number of orders in my queue, you may not receive your icons for several weeks from the date the order was submitted.
• I reserve the right, at any time, to cancel a commission order or a commission queue for any reason.
↳ In the instance that I am in the middle of an approved job, I will work with the requester to either deliver the commission as it's currently produced (10%, 20%, 30% etc. completed) or complete the job.
• I reserve the right to refuse to do any revision requests at any time during the process for any reason, from the sample stage to after I have initially completed the commissioned set.
↳ If the revisions are due to a zip file being changed and re-provided and a cap was missed, I reserve the right to refuse to complete the revision request.
↳ In conjunction with this, I reserve the right to not fulfil any or all revision requests. I only fulfil revision requests that produce a quality icon that I am proud of as an icon maker, therefore, some requests will not work as the requester may wish.
• The requester will credit my icons when using them.
• The requester will not edit my icons nor claim them as their own.
• The requester has the right to cancel the commission order at any time prior to the first sample being approved. Once the first sample is approved, the requester cannot cancel the commissioned request and payment will be required for the completion of the work for the full commission set requested.
• If the requester does not reply and confirm approval or disapproval of the final sample after five days (inclusive of the weekend), the commission will be considered forfeited.
I reserve the right to replace this commission with another commission or to remove the commission entirely from my queue without replacing it with another request. I understand Dreamwidth notifications are botched, however; it is not fair for me to have a commission request linger unfinished for several weeks.
• In the instance that a commission is approved but payment is not made after seven days, the requester loses the rights of owning and exclusively using the icons made. I will post the icon set publicly for public use.
• I will not be providing refunds. Please be aware that after the first sample has been approved, payment is applicable to the work.
• If you did not pay for the icons, please do not take them from the requester. They have paid to use the icons and they are not available for anyone else's use unless permitted by the requester.
↳ In conjunction with this, I will not be sending anyone any commission sets unless they are the original requester. If the original requester is fine with the set being used by someone else, it is therefore up to the requester to provide the set to other users. I will not be providing sets to anyone who is not the original requester, even if they have obtained the requester's permission to contact me.
↳ If you are the original requester and have lost your icon set at any point in time after I have completed the work, please get in touch with me as I keep all of my commission sets. I am happy to send them to you again!
↳ To prove you are the original commissioner, you will need to reply or pm me with the account you used to request your icons.
• All communication regarding individual requests and commissions will take place on this page; icon sets will be pmed to the requester. It's at my discretion if it moves to Dreamwidth pm, Plurk pm or Discord pm.
• If you donate more than the stated price amount, then that is of your own accord. I will not be making the number of icons that the total donation amount equates to nor will I be providing you with the difference.
• I reserve the right at any time to change my terms of service (including any part of my process as explained on this page) for any reason for the service that I provide.
