FEEDBACK POST. I've made this post to offer people a chance to provide feedback on their experiences commissioning me. You can use this post whenever you like—now, three months from now, three years. 😌 Over the last two years alone, I've made over 15,000 icons for commissioned use. Most of these icons were produced in conjunction with a fundraiser. If it wasn't for the enthusiasm and generosity of this community, I wouldn't be able to not only be very annoying about the things that I care about (animals, baby!) but I don't think I would have had the opportunity to practice and sharpen my skills in Photoshop. (I have come to enjoy those pesky darkly lit caps because of the practice and kind feedback I've received from people over the last year alone.) This post is for anyone who wants to share their experience. Yes, it's a post to toot my own horn a little. (While tooting my horn is fun, I am always looking for ways to enhance my commissioning experience and have learned a bit from just talking to people about their expectations and experiences and learnings, especially when commissioning shithouse.) I meant to do this much earlier but life ran away from me and I didn't get the chance to sit down and actually write a review. With that being said, I've commissioned icons from peaked twice so far, and each time I've been completely satisfied with the quality and overall experience. I'm that asshole who keeps commissioning video game characters, and I really appreciate the fact that she took them on despite them being from a medium she doesn't usually icon from. You'd never know it anyway because the end results are gorgeous; just check out the icons in this journal and I've included some before/after samples below of the second character I commissioned:



The lightning in most of the caps for Estinien were all over the place, yet they came out so crisp and clean. Like the person before me said: this is magic. I don't even know how she does it, but each time she delivers. I can't say enough of how impressed I am each time that these icons are just as quality as the live action icons found in this community, which I also believe really demonstrates the effort and skill that's put into each commission regardless of whether the icons are from a movie, a show, a video game, or what have you.

Anyway, they're amazing. The whole experience was great also—great communication with updates and previews, and if there's anything off, you're quick to be notified. I felt really comfortable throughout the whole process and I was never left feeling hanging or like I was forgotten; love that the funds raised have always gone to charity also. Honestly, if you're thinking about getting a commission with peaked, just do it because I definitely will be coming back again. ♥
