7 BRIDGES WALK FUNDRAISER.

It's been a while since I ran a fundraiser, and I thought I'd do so for the Cancer Council's 7 Bridges Walk! This is an annual walk that happens in Sydney, Australia that raises money to support the Cancer Council and its various programs.

I have been doing this walk for several years. The walk is approximately 30km around Sydney's CBD and takes walkers across seven of Sydney's bridges (including the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge). It's a huge event where thousands of people (and dogs!) walk. If you're interested in knowing a little more about the walk, you can check out the course.

We are CLOSED! Thanks for your support! We ended up raising $238.51AUD and made 1,227 icons.

TIMING.

All timings are Australian timings, so if you're not Aussie, +1 a day. (Google is your friend. I am in Sydney, so I am in AEST until the end of September and AEDT from October onward.)

I'm not going to be too strict about the times. If it's still that day in Australia, then I will accept it (i.e. if you submit a request on Monday 9 October at 11.30pm AEDT, I'm not going to reject you—I will be asleep). This is me trying to accommodate all the timezones in the world.

Orders open: Monday 25 September.
Placeholders: Monday 25 September - Monday 9 October (open for two weeks).
Orders close: Wednesday 11 October.

If you want to commission me but won't be able to submit your request until after 11 October, please get in touch! I'm happy to accept requests after this time, but will need to close permanently toward the end of October for personal reasons.

GUIDELINES.

The same rules/guidelines as per my regular commissions apply (except for placeholders), which you can read here. (All the important stuff is below.)

Orders must be submitted on this Dreamwidth page. This keeps things streamlined for yours truly.

One character per request. One request per requester. If you want to request more than one character or submit more than one request, please pm me.

Caps must be provided. You can provide an additional 5 caps, so a request for 100 icons can have a zip of 105 caps submitted. I will not be searching or gathering caps because I want to be able to turn icons around quickly.

Feel free to reach out if you want help knowing where you can grab caps, and I'll see if I know a place.

Provide caps in a downloadable folder. You can upload your zip to Sendspace, Google files, or any other way. As long as I can download all your caps in one go and the folder I download has the character's name, I have no preference if you upload it to the moon.

Placeholders will be allowed, but all placeholders will be considered void by Monday 9 October AEDT. If these are not edited with an order, they will be cancelled. If you return to your placeholder after this date but before Wednesday 11 October, you will be placed at the back of the queue. Placeholders will not be taken after this date. One placeholder per person. Don't cheat this system.

If you'd like to participate but won't be able to get your order in before Wednesday 11 October due to extenuating circumstances (like financial reasons), please get in touch with me and we can sort something out. Cancer Council will stop accepting donations in late November (although I would like to finish commissions by Friday 17 November).

I will icon live action tv and film, anime, cartoons/animation, comics, and video games. I will not icon fanart, black and white imagery, and lineart.

There is nothing I want to avoid spoilers for right now, so go wild.

Comic panel clean-ups (removing text and speech bubbles when able) are available for this commission package.

Turnaround time is three days upon approval. I don't plan on iconning on Friday, Saturday and Sunday due to offline commitments.

I will not make icons of the following characters: Barry Allen (DCTV), Inej Ghafa (Grishaverse), Zoya Nazyalensky (Grishaverse), Katherine Pierce (The Vampire Diaries), Stefan Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries), Bucky Barnes (MCU), Yelena Belova (MCU), Wanda Maximoff (MCU). I'm tired of their faces.

Don't be a dick. My T&Cs apply.

Please credit icons to either

peaked or

shithouse or both, whatever strikes your fancy.

PRICING.

Icons during this period will cost $0.10 per icon. If you are requesting comic book icons and would like a lot of manipulation to remove speech bubbles etc., then this will increase to $0.20 per icon. I will not be accepting Dreamwidth points.

The maximum number of icons I will complete is 150, with the minimum being 15. This is so I can turn icons around quickly!

Pricing on the basic non-comic book tier will be as follows (an example):

15 icons for $1.50.

25 icons for $2.50.

50 icons for $5.00.

75 icons for $7.50.

100 icons for $10.50.

150 icons for $15.00.

Pricing on comic book-tier that requires manipulations will be as follows (an example):

15 icons for $3.00

25 icons for $5.00

50 icons for $10.00.

75 icons for $15.00.

100 icons for $20.00

150 icons for $30.00.

Manipulating panels takes time and skill, so the additional $0.10 is to accommodate for that.

All pricing is in AUD.

PROCESS.

If you want to placeholder your request, please be aware that you must come back and edit your comment by Monday 9 October AEDT to be able to hold your place in the queue.

How I organise my placeholders in the queue is up to me. If A comments before B but B provides their zip file before A, B may be placed before A in the queue. If A requests a placeholder but C, who doesn't request a placeholder, provides their caps before A, C's commission will be processed before A. If you are B and haven't provided your caps by the time I finish A's commission, I will move on to C and you will slot into the queue once I have your caps (so it could be after D). I will not wait for B to give me caps once I finish A's request.

If this will cause you stress, don't request a placeholder. I will not wait for anybody.

If you request a placeholder and provide your caps after the deadline, you'll go to the back of the queue.

I'm only offering placeholders to allow people to participate and gather their caps, especially since I sprung this on everyone without a heads-up. If I find this is causing too much angst, I will remove placeholders without notice; it'll become a firm requirement that caps must be provided to confirm your spot in the queue.

All caps must be provided in a zip file. The number of caps in the zip must correlate to the number of icons requested (unless you're providing an additional 5 for fear a few of your caps are unworkable). I will not be gathering caps or picking caps from a zip for you.

I will provide you with a before/after sample for approval per my usual commission process. Once approved, I will commence the commission.

Once you've approved your sample, please wait five business days before following me up for your icons. For a 150-icon set, I should take only three business days to turn it around. If you are requesting a comic panel clean-up, please wait two more days. I don't plan on making icons Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Please wait for me to confirm your icons are completed before you donate.

Once I confirm your icons are completed (a final sample will be provided), please donate to my page. Please PM me your receipt so I know that you have donated. (Feel free to black out any private info; I need your name to cross-reference and the donation amount).

I will pm you your icon set once you've donated.

If you respond to me using multiple accounts, the last account you respond to me with is the account I will pm the icons to.

My usual commission process applies regarding samples, crops, etc. You can read more about it here if you want.

HOW TO DONATE.

When you donate, you'll be asked to fill in personal details on the page to confirm the payment (name, email, credit card, etc. It does not ask for an address.). There is an option where it asks if you'd like to cover costs for the platform—please feel free to opt out of this.

You will receive a receipt when you donate, and I will receive a notification of the donation. Your name will be visible to only me via my dashboard. You can choose how you wish your name be displayed on the page. Please ensure this name is not rude or offensive.

I love this idea. Are you willing to make icons for any fandom provided the characters are not on your will not make list?
